Clara grew up in Greenwich, CT, one of the most competitive high school athletic environments in the country. She went on to row at Columbia University as a D1 recruited athlete and Ivy League team captain, then spent several years in management consulting in New York City. She is currently pursuing her MBA at Harvard Business School.
Along the way, she built a practice as a recruitment consultant, working directly with student-athletes and families navigating a process she knows inside and out. Varsity Office Hours grew out of that work when demand pushed beyond her own sport of rowing. She wanted to build something that could reach athletes across every sport and make expert guidance actually accessible.
